Santa Lucia’s Fair has been held for more than 4 centuries under the arcades of the Chiesa dei Servi. Christmas decorations, Candies, gift ideas and several handicraft products take pride of place.

Younger, but no less well-stocked, Via Altabella Christmas market in in the heart of Bologna’s downtown not far from Piazza Maggiore. If you want a full immersion of the Christmas atmosphere this is the right place for you. Here too you will find handicrafts, accessories like wool hats and scarves, bijoux and sweets.
